It was the Ajax Motor Vehicle Corporation which was positioned in the metropolis of New York that was credited with implementing the original electric runabouts in the early parts of the 1900s in the United States. This was almost the equivalent occasion that a reference to an electric scooter was created in the early editions of the Popular Technicalities.

Those 2 credits were between the first in electric vehicle history. The first 1920’s saw Ransomes producing and electronic cycle. This was followed by the Applications Electro Mecaniques, which was a French company. It manufactured what it termed as Electrocyclette in the year 1927. Although it was in fact alot more of a trike than a scooter since it has two wheels at the front and one at the back.
