How To Make Vietnamese Coffee

Have you ever seen or heard of a vitnamese coffee press. It is much different than your traditional 12 cup coffee maker like we use in the states. It is mainly used in Thailand and of course Vietnam. It is much like dring espresso and the vietnamese enoy it over a long period of time while socializing with friends and family and a cafe. It is a small metal coffee filter that sits on top of an individual cup.

You then scoop in the coffee grinds, usually 2-3 tablespoons. The actual cup you use is usually clear glass so you can see it drip down and when it is done. At the bottom of the cup is condensed milk. After you have pored the water through and it has finished filtering you take the coffee press off the cup and stir the coffee with the condensed milk. Then enjoy!
