Glenn Doman

There are probably very few parents who are not familiar with using flash cards when teaching children to read.

But we suspect that many of these parents have never heard of the name Glenn Doman, the man who really popularized this teaching aid.

Having made a name for himself in the field of helping children to read, he also wrote books on teaching babies math, and helping children gain an encyclopedic knowledge at a very early age.

The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential he founded has also become a bit of a family affair, with his daughter, Janet, also playing a key role.
