Athletic Club

I am completly lost on this assignment. I need to chose a decision support system that will help a fitness center track which activities it’s members are doing, and also help the members plan a fitness program to meet their particular needs. Can anyone please help?

Is this for a Decision Support System Application Assignment? If so, then take a look at A.I. It will be able to give you the answers you need to track information at the fitness center.

I want to get a membership, I have some leftover corn detasseling money, and my mom said she would pay the rest if I’m old enough.
But does anyone know what the minimum age is to join at Total Fitness?

I really love this venue for my wedding but am worried about the bad reviews I have read about the hotel.. Does anyone know what it is like as a wedding venue? Was the food good? staff helpful? any advice would be a great help

I plan to open my business real soon, I’m trying to figure out how many total of employees i need and might need to hire for a 24 hour fitness center.

at least four for every shift, so if you have three eight hour shifts, then 12, or four six hour shifts, then 16…plus a few part-timers and floaters. I’d go with 20 to be safe.

I am a sports enthusiast. I am planning to start a sports club. Need regulatory details and guidance. To start with, I have thought of working part time for some school or club which is interested in promoting sports.

I’m moving to Atlanta in a couple of months and was wondering what were some names of some really nice fitness clubs in Atlanta.

I need a little added incentive to go to the gym and it helps if the gym is really nice with lots of amenities.

I’m not interested in Golds, Curves, or Bally’s.

Life-Style Family Fitness Centers are real good.

I’m going to take up tennis in the Spring and I don’t have any good athletic sneakers. What are good brands/styles of sneakers for people who are into tennis and running? My style is clean, chic, and a bit vintage. I really don’t know the first thing about choosing athletic sneakers!

I would go with Adidas for tennis shoes. They’re usually clean white with clean designs. They have really good support as well. I would also check out Aasics and Mizuno while you’re at it. They make excellent court shoes and I believe turf as well.
Get ones will really good traction and don’t worry about how they look because you need to pick function over fashion when it comes to athletic shoes.

I work for LA fitness, therefore can give you a quick recap of them all.
LA fitness varies and usually we get specials coming in. There should be a special on Monday, since it’s our closing so we get good prices at that time.
not contract. mnth to mnth. usually around 70+ down with first and last month and monthly billing of 19.99, 29.99 and others.

Bally’s usually works based on contract. 3-5 year contracts. Also, if anything I wouldnt go with them since the filed prop 11, which means most of the clubs will shut down sooner than later. we get a lot of ppl from bally come to us cause they know, they’ll be gone soon enough.

24 hour has pretty much similar rates to LA fitness.
also they get specials every now and then, but their prices are just as similar.

since I work for LAF I have a free membership, however I would probably get a membership on 24 sinc ethey are open 24 hours!
I like working out late at night, but if that not an issue with you then LAF works as well.
Other then that, I’d go with the club with nearest location to me.

Also, does the policy work and is the policy enforced or just an honor system?

The policy is actually for 2 reasons. First, as already mentioned in other responses is courtesy.
The second, and more important is privacy. As most, if not all cell phones now have a camera feature, the policy is usually put in place to prevent the possibility of pictures being taken.

As for how its enforced, it’s an honour system, but only to a certain extent. They don’t have cameras in the change rooms or anything, but most gyms will take complaints of this nature VERY seriously.

I’m 40 and married but my wife is sexless and I would like to date some of the women I see at the health club. What are some ways I can get closer to them? Do I need to move slowly and just make little comments like "wow, you’re really working that yoga ball", or can just brush past them and say "wanna exercise together offsite one of these days?"

I know you’re being silly, but actually, having a gym membership is the ultimate way to cheat. You could tell the wife you’re going to the gym — and do, sign in for five minutes — leave, get all hot and sweaty (she could tell her husband the same thing) — then come back to the gym for a shower.

There will be a log of you checking in and out of the gym for an hour or so if ever confronted. It’s the perfect alibi.
